"It does not belong to you to know the times and seasons the times or seasons that the Father has placed in his own jurisdiction." (Acts 1:7) (it belongs to the Macallan swigging charlatans at Warwick!)

Active JW'S - Are YOU "exercising faith?"
by The Fall Guy inon pages 27 & 28 of the august 2019 study watchtower, it perverts the translation of scriptures yet again, in order to drum it into jw's minds that they have to work for their salvation.
“on the evening before his death, jesus told his disciples: “exercise faith in god; exercise faith also in me.” (john 14:1).
according to strong's lexicon, the greek word pisteuō is translated thus - “to think to be true, to be persuaded of, to credit, place confidence in, of the thing believed, to credit, have confidence.”.

"Many translations use reverence or similar."
That makes them as untrustworthy as the RNWT at translating the Greek word phobos.
It's nice to see that virtually every translation - except RNWT & Derby - renders Revelation 5:10 thus, "You made them a kingdom and priests to our God, and they will reign on the earth." (not over or above)
At least they got that right! Even then, "ruling over" doesn't translate as ruling from a location up in the sky.
Queen Elizabeth rules over the UK, but she doesn't do it from a giant drone or spaceship.
JW's - check out Rev. 5:10 in the original Greek in your Interlinear Translation, then look at the diagram inside the hard cover.
Exactly where are the org's
kingsprinces/priests going to serve? (read Psalm 45:16) -

Tameria2001 said, "Sounds exactly what they were saying back in the late 80s early 90s."
Yes - in the 1880's & 1890's! :)
Rush out and buy shares in companies which make diapers/nappies - because more than 8 million JW's are going to be emptying the shelves of stock after hearing this 130 year old bovine faeces.

The Greek word phobos is where the word phobia, meaning 'fear,' comes from.
Is fear a synonym for 'deep respect?'
(1 Peter 3:1,2) ….you wives, be in subjection to your husbands, so that if any are not obedient to the word, they may be won without a word through the conduct of their wives, 2 because of having been eyewitnesses of your chaste conduct together with deep respect. (RNWT)
(1 Peter 3:1,2) Wives, likewise, be submissive to your own husbands, that even if some do not obey the word, they, without a word, may be won by the conduct of their wives, when they observe your chaste conduct accompanied by fear. (NKJV)
It's sad that the “only true religion” on planet earth doesn't have God's spirit guiding them when it comes to translating the Christian Greek scriptures – but Christendom has it! :(

On pages 27 & 28 of the August 2019 Study Watchtower, it perverts the translation of scriptures yet again, in order to drum it into JW's minds that they have to work for their salvation. It says this:
“On the evening before his death, Jesus told his disciples: “Exercise faith in God; exercise faith also in me.” (John 14:1)
According to Strong's Lexicon, the Greek word pisteuō is translated thus - “to think to be true, to be persuaded of, to credit, place confidence in, of the thing believed, to credit, have confidence.”
These renderings point to a mental acceptance and belief - something which was not felt previously.
It had nothing to with “exercising faith” in something/someone.

What’s The Worst Thing About Jehovah’s Witnesses?
by minimus inwitnesses brag about their brotherhood and incredible love that exists within the organization.
they say they are really the only true religion.
is the jw religion the closest thing to jesus christ himself?.

The worst trait of Jehovah's Witnesses?
The fact that every JW is trained to be a potential spy & character assassin of other JW's who either commit a sin or who express any "negative" thoughts about the org or its teachings. Elders take the lead in this!
Cult, cult, cult.

JW's & eBay
by The Fall Guy ini just came across a pair of jw's on ebay who are flogging off nearly 2000 "religious" items.. is it just me, or are jw's hypocrites when they make cash by selling old light publications which now contain "wrong teachings," or much worse, by selling books etc.
which were created by members of apostate christendom and contain teachings which contradict their self-appointed "faithful slave?
is there a bible example/principle here?.

@ LONGHAIREDGAL - Their listings end with this statement;
"Any profits are donated to the World wide work of Jehovah's Witnesses."

LOL - they've created a diversion by saying that there's nothing wrong with the slave commenting on Christendom's publications.
My reply:
I never said ANYHING about the slave making comments. I was simply questioning whether such material should be PASSED ON to fellow JW's - let alone SOLD FOR CASH.
Is a brother selling tobacco to earn money, any worse than a brother selling the publications of apostate Christendom?
As witnesses, we're instructed by the slave to NEVER ACCEPT LITERATURE from the folks in Christendom.
But you feel it's OK to MAKE MONEY by SELLING it to other J.W.'s? Sounds reasonable!
I'm sure your conscience is clear - it's a personal choice.

@ stan & zing - you have a PM.
The JW's are getting a bit irked by my subtle questions to them. They now say "We don't care to argue about this anymore." LOL - standard JW response nowadays.
There wasn't any argument, folks!
